Internet differences over 15 years.

The internet has changed greatly from 1996 to now. In 1996 not nearly as many people had access to the internet. Over time more countries have gotten access to the internet. In 1996 people were using internet for research, buissness, advertisements, and things like that. Now people use the internet for games, social networking, music dowloads, watching movies, watching music videos, and there is a much wider aray of things to do on the internet than there was 15 years ago. The look of the internet was much more plain and boring in 1996. The graphic were just like clipart and things like that, now you can embedd your own slideshow, have movies, and much more clearer HD pictures. The internet looks a lot more creative, neater, and all around better now. Also, there are tool bars, tabs, and other ways to organize information. Back then you could not open multiple tabs and there were not toolbars that you can type things in and the info you are seeking comes up. The internet was much much slower then, a lot of websites just opted to have no graphics because it was so slow. Now there are internet connections that you can have a movie on and it is still probably faster than it was anywhere then. Communication tools have broadened over time. Then, there was email and some other stuff. NOw there is istant messanger chat, chat on social networking sites, you can skype, and video chat. None of that could be done then.
